Report of LASA Ministry 2018-19  
      The  Province 
of Immaculate  Conception  Eastern 
India  has  appointed 
one  sister  from 
each  community  as  in
charge  of   LASA group. On 11-2-2019  to 
12-2-2019 .Two  days  seminar 
was  arranged for  the 
Sisters at  St. Ann’s  Provincialate   Gollapudi. All the sisters were enlightened with
the legacy left behind by our founders. Article no.  30 
from  our  constitution and  article 
no. 10 from the  directory  was 
read  which  speaks 
of  the  involvement 
of  laity  in 
our  mission. The structure  and 
organization  of  LASA, the 
project  of  life, the symbol  of 
the  logo, history  of LASA 
in  other  parts 
of  the  world, 
object  of  LASA, duties of  the 
co-coordinating  committee
and  the 
profile of  LASA members  all these 
topics were explained  to the  sisters clearly. In the meeting we have
decided to have LASA meeting once in two months
Ø  Prayer
Ø  Lectio from  AGC
Ø  Reading  the 
life  of  our Founders
Ø  Scripture  reading
Ø  Evaluation  on 
the  previous  meeting
Ø  To  create 
a greater  sense of belongingness
and  to 
give  the  LASA 
members  a  better 
knowledge  of  our 
Founders  we  have 
planned  one  day 
seminar
Ø  Once in  a  way,
close by  communities of  LASA group 
come  together  for 
the  meeting
Ø  Exhibition  of 
the  chart( about  our 
Congregation)
Ø  Enacting  the 
life  of  our 
Founders
Ø  Chaplet  of 
merciful love  to  be 
prayed   whenever gathered  for 
the  meeting
Ø  Organizing   a 
small  programme  on 21st of 
February  for  LASA 
group
Ø  Inviting  LASA 
group on  7th of  May to 
pray  for  our 
miracle
Ø  On 18th  August renewal  of 
marriage  vows  for 
the  LASA couples
Ø  Once in a way message
from Provincial for the LASA group. Which they would value more.
Ø In our Province each community chose an appropriate time in month of June 2019 and inaugurated LASA with the prayer service followed by the reading of our Mother General. In each community a beautiful and meaningful prayer service was conducted. In the first meeting LASA members came to know more about our congregation and about our Founders. They were enriched knowing about the noble couple who went out of themselves to reach out to the little once of the society. LASA members were touched by the pious couple.
Ø  The  communities  of 
LASA group  have  decided different  activities 
to  be  carried 
out  in our  Province-
Ø  On the Fridays  the LASA  members  
will  gather in  the 
family to  pray
Ø  To visit the  hospitals and to
comfort  the  sick
Ø  Contribution  of  Rs. 500 
every  month to  help 
the  poor  and 
the sick.
Ø Explanation of Gospel of St. Mathew to the Christians and non Christians
Ø  LASA  members  praying 
together  for  many 
special  intensions
Ø  To go  for pilgrimage to  a 
famous  shrine
Ø  The  sisters encouraged  the 
LASA  members  saying that 
they  are part  of 
our  family of  St Ann. 
They were invited to participate in our festal celebrations.
Ø  At  the  end 
they expressed  their
gratitude  to  the 
sisters for  having  given 
them  privilege   to  join
LASA   group. They too felt responsible
towards the mission   they are called to carry
on.
Ø  We entrust a new venture into the care and protection of our Mother Mary.
