Traditional and Healthy Food Day

  On February 15, 2025, St. Ann’s School, Basanpali Tamnar, celebrated “Traditional and Healthy Food Day.” LKG students presented traditional dishes from states like Andhra, Bihar, Kerala, Odisha, Punjab, and Gujarat. They also displayed salads and homemade Indian delicacies, highlighting the richness of regional cuisine. UKG students explained the concept of a balanced diet and the effects of healthy versus junk food. Through rhymes, songs, costumes, and charts, they creatively promoted healthy eating and avoiding food waste. The event fostered interaction among Sisters, teachers, parents, and students, leaving joyful and memorable experiences.


 Graduation Ceremony - Tamnar

  On April 11, 2025, St. Ann’s Higher Secondary School, Basanpali Tamnar, celebrated KG Graduation Day with joy and pride. The event was attended by the Sister Manager, Principal, Vice Principal, Sisters, teachers, and proud parents. UKG students conducted the ceremony with cheerful energy, presenting dances, a short story, and a Graduation Dance. The highlight was the “Passing the Light of Knowledge” performed by graduates in elegant attire. The Sister Manager emphasized the school’s vision and the vital role of parents and teachers. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and sweets, leaving lasting memories of joy and success.


YOGA DAY

  On June 21, 2025, Atkinson Senior Secondary School, Gollapudi, celebrated International Yoga Day for Class 9 students. The program began with prayers, Bible reading, and a warm welcome to Sr. Veronica, Sr. Mariamma, and staff. Mr. Isaac explained the significance of the 11th Yoga Day, highlighting yoga’s role in health and harmony. Mrs. Janaki recited the Shanti Mantra, followed by yogasanas performed by Mr. Suresh, Ms. Harshasree, and students. Sr. Veronica emphasized yoga as a connection of mind, body, and soul, stressing environmental care and cleanliness. The event concluded with appreciation, a vote of thanks by Ms. G. Swathi, and the National Anthem.



A Joyous Beginning:

   On June 13, 2025, Atkinson Senior Secondary School, Gollapudi, welcomed students back for the new academic year. The day began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Sr. Veronica, Sr. Mariamma, Sr. Shanti, and students. Colourful decorations, balloons, rangoli, music, and flower petals created a festive atmosphere at the school gates. A special morning assembly and the Principal’s inspiring speech encouraged positivity and confidence. Students enjoyed decorated classrooms, storytelling, and team games that fostered joy and connection. The celebration concluded with healthy snacks, marking a cheerful start to a promising academic journey.



Student Orientation Program

   On June 7, 2025, Atkinson Senior Secondary School, Gollapudi, held an inspiring orientation session for Class 10 students by Fr. Avinash Bitra. He encouraged students to set clear goals and shared the motivating life story of Nick Vujicic. Famous quotes from Swami Vivekananda and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam further uplifted the audience. Father introduced the SMART technique—Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Time-framed—for effective goal setting. He emphasized discipline, time management, and focus as keys to success in life. The session left students motivated and grateful to the management for arranging such a valuable program.


 Teacher’s Orientation Programme

    On June 5–6, 2025, Atkinson Senior Secondary School, Gollapudi, held a two-day staff orientation program. Guest speaker Rev. Fr. Avinash Bitra was warmly welcomed and honoured at the inaugural session. The theme, “Vision of Education – Change of Mindsets, New Results – New Mindsets,” emphasized adaptability and growth. Fr. Avinash spoke on educational trends, qualities of good teachers, teamwork, and the value of a growth mindset. Interactive activities like Dr. Phil’s test and a joyful song on God’s love energized the participants. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving teachers inspired, motivated, and grateful to the management.


 Swarna Andhra – Swachh Andhra

   On April 20, 2025, St. Ann’s E.M. School, Nidadavolu, conducted an activity under the Swarna Andhra – Swachh Andhra initiative. “Swarna Andhra” symbolizes prosperity and heritage, while “Swachh Andhra” emphasizes cleanliness and responsibility. The school observes this program on the third Saturday of every month. A campus rally with slogans and quizzes for primary and high school students highlighted the day’s activities. ASPL Sathwik of Class 9 led the assembly in taking the Swarna Andhra, Swachh Andhra pledge. Rev. Sr. Anthu Mary, the Principal, addressed the gathering on the importance of hygiene and campus cleanliness.           

                                     
 
                            

Capacity Building Programme on Stress Management

  On April 12, 2025, Atkinson Senior Secondary School, Gollapudi, hosted a Capacity Building Programme on Stress Management. The resource persons, Mrs. L. V. Ramadevi and Mr. Gade Janardhan Reddy, were warmly welcomed and felicitated. Mrs. Ramadevi discussed stress types, causes, balancing techniques, physiological responses, and management approaches. Mr. Reddy explained the mind–body connection, led group activities, and shared time management strategies. Students showcased their learning through skits, charts, and discussions, making the seminar interactive and engaging. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the valuable insights of the resource persons.


 Graduation Day Ceremony - Nidadavole

    On March 27, 2025, St. Ann’s E.M. High School, Nidadavole, celebrated its first-ever Graduation Day for U.K.G. and V-grade students. Esteemed guests Dr. M. Raghavendra, Sr. Nirmala, Sr. Gracy, and Sr. Anthu Mary graced the occasion, welcomed with saplings and lamp-lighting. The ceremony began with prayers, a welcome address by the Principal, and a graceful welcome dance. U.K.G. graduates in robes received certificates, while V-grade students were honoured for academic and personal achievements. Songs, dances, speeches, and the inspiring address of Chief Guest Dr. Raghavendra added colour and meaning to the day. The event concluded with the graduation pledge, parents’ appreciation, choir singing “Showers of Blessings,” and the National Anthem.


Graduation Day-Joharapuram

  On April 17, 2025, St. Ann’s English Medium School, Joharapuram, celebrated KG Graduation Day with joy and pride. The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and new beginnings. Children presented delightful performances, including dances and a classical piece that captivated the audience. Correspondent Sr. Chinna Theresa delivered an inspiring message, while teachers ensured the smooth execution of the event. Parents shared in the joy, expressing pride as their children marked this milestone in their educational journey. Prizes were distributed to participants, making the day memorable and encouraging the young graduates.


            Graduation Day - St. Theresa’s E.M. Elementary School

   On April 7, 2025, St. Theresa’s Elementary English Medium School celebrated Kindergarten Graduation Day with joy and pride. Teachers welcomed the children warmly, and the venue was decorated with delightful student-made creations. Parents, grandparents, and guardians applauded as kindergarteners performed rhymes, songs, dances, and skits with confidence. Teachers reflected on each child’s growth, praising their curiosity, creativity, and resilience throughout the year. Dr. Sr. Suneela Rani delivered a heartfelt speech, reminding all that graduation marks the beginning of lifelong learning. The celebration honored academic progress, encouragement, and dreams, concluding with congratulations to the little graduates.


Graduation Day – Atkinson School Gollapudi

   On March 19, 2025, Atkinson School, Gollapudi, celebrated its KG Graduation Day with joy and pride. The program began with a prayer and a graceful prayer dance. Principal Sr. Fathima Pavani, Correspondent Sr. Veronica, and chief guests Mr. Rejeti Praveen and Dr. Thallakula Veenila presented certificates. The children looked delightful in graduation robes and caps, warmly appreciated by all present. Parents and mentors watched with pride as the little graduates received their diplomas. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, marking a memorable occasion for everyone.


Trifold Event

    On April 1, 2025, St. Ann’s English Medium School, Bhanjanagar, joyfully celebrated a trifold event. The day honoured Utkal Divas (Odisha Day) with cultural programs, tributes, and pride in Odisha’s heritage. It also marked the KG Graduation Ceremony and the welcoming of new students for the academic year 2025–26. The campus came alive with colourful decorations, rangoli, and aarti performed by teachers to bless the students. UKG graduates, dressed in robes, received certificates with their parents, creating a heart-warming sight. The celebration beautifully combined Odisha’s legacy, student achievements, and a warm welcome to the new year.

Celebration of Women’s Day

    On March 8, 2025, St. Ann’s E.M. School, Nidadavolu, celebrated Women’s Day with the theme “Empowering the Women, Empowering the World.” The male staff organized the program as a gesture of gratitude and respect for all women. Each woman on campus was welcomed with a flower and fruit, symbols of love and appreciation. A special centrepiece, the “St. Ann’s Family Tree,” was unveiled by the management, delighting everyone. Miss Rushitha Sri (SPL) delivered a heartfelt speech, and a surprise lucky draw added joy to the event. Rev. Sr. Gracy was honoured with the “Best Woman Award” before the celebration concluded with refreshments for all.

SCIENCE FAIR

   On February 28, 2025, St. Ann’s E.M. School, Joharapuram, Kurnool, celebrated its Science Fair with a vibrant exhibition. Students from Classes IV to IX showcased innovative projects on water purification, wind energy, and life processes. Engaging presentations highlighted their designs and explained the scientific concepts with clarity and enthusiasm. The fair inspired curiosity, promoted hands-on learning, and fostered collaboration among peers. The local community praised the students’ efforts, appreciating their creativity and confidence. This successful event strengthened the school’s commitment to nurturing a love for science and exploration.  

Awards Day Ceremony

    On February 24, 2025, Atkinson Senior Secondary School, Gollapudi, celebrated its Awards Day Ceremony with great joy. The dignitaries included Correspondent Sr. Veronica, Principal Sr. Fathima Pavani, Vice Principal Sr. Sundari, and Chief Guest Mr. Suresh, an alumnus of the 2006 batch. The program began with an invocation, Bible reading, and prayer, setting a reverent tone for the day. Awards were presented from KG to Class XI in categories such as General Proficiency, Special Achievements, and Sports & Games. The chief guest was honoured with a shawl, sapling, and token of appreciation, while Sr. Veronica inspired students with her address. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, filling the campus with patriotism, unity, and pride. 

Annual Awards Day Ceremony

    On February 22, 2025, St. Ann’s English Medium School, Bhanjanagar, celebrated its Annual Awards Day Ceremony. The event recognized student achievements in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities with joy and pride. The program began with a prayer by Sr. Sri Latha and a song invoking God’s blessings. In honour of Blessed Mother Enrichetta’s feast, her virtues were remembered and all Institutions entrusted to her care. Principal Sr. Shantha Kumari inspired students with a speech on excellence, dedication, and perseverance. Awards were distributed, cultural events held, and the celebration motivated students to aim higher and dream bigger. 

Feast of Blessed Mother Enrichetta

    On February 21, 2025, St. Ann’s E.M. High School, Nidadavole, celebrated the Feast of Blessed Mother Enrichetta along with the annual prize distribution. The day’s theme highlighted her life as a beacon of hope, mercy, and trust in the Lord. Organized by the Lotus and Roses groups under Sr. Shanthi and Sr. Geetha, students presented a touching tableau. Awards for co-curricular and academic excellence were distributed by Sr. Nirmala, Sr. Gracy, and Sr. Anthu Mary. Sr. Anthu Mary, the Principal, warmly congratulated all achievers, making the celebration both joyous and inspiring.

     Inauguration of the Blessed Mother Enrichetta Office Block

    On February 21, 2025, Atkinson Sr. Sec. School, Gollapudi, inaugurated its new office block named after Blessed Mother Enrichetta, coinciding with her feast day. Respected clergy and religious guests, including Rev. Fr. Chinnappa, Rev. Fr. Sudhakar, Dr. Sr. Showrilu, Sr. Veronica, and Sr. Inyasamma, graced the occasion. The ceremony began with a prayer service led by Fr. Chinnappa and Fr. Sudhakar, invoking divine grace. Dr. Sr. Showrilu cut the ribbon. The event strengthened bonds, renewed commitment, and filled all with joy, calm, and optimism. 


 Merits Day & Feast Day Celebrations

    On February 21, 2025, St. Theresa’s function hall hosted the Merits Day and Feast Day of Blessed Mother Enrichetta. The program began with a warm welcome and an invocation seeking God’s blessings. A solemn prayer service honored Blessed Mother Enrichetta, reflecting on her values and virtues. Merits Day recognized students excelling in academics, sports, arts, leadership, and co-curricular activities. Chief guest Dr. Sr. Sunila Rani inspired students to strive for holistic growth and service. Cultural performances and a vote of thanks concluded the joyous celebration, filling all with pride and gratitude.   

                     

             Republic Day Celebration

   On January 26, 2025, Atkinson Senior Secondary School, Gollapudi, celebrated Republic Day to honor the adoption of the Indian Constitution. The dignitaries included Provincial Superior Sr. Showrilu K., Correspondent Sr. Veronica K., Animator Sr. Rakkini, Principal Sr. Fathima Pavani, and guest of honour Mr. Shahabaz Khan. The program began with the unfurling of the national flag, a march-past by NCC boys and girls, and the national anthem. Cultural performances and a karate demonstration added vibrancy to the celebration. The dignitaries and guest were felicitated with shawls and tokens of appreciation. The event concluded with a small gathering hosted by the Principal, with delightful refreshments.


Republic Day

On January 26, 2025, St. Ann’s E.M. High School, Nidadavole, celebrated Republic Day with the theme “Let us salute the spirit of a proud, free, and united Republic of India.” The program began at 7:30 a.m. with a prayer service led by the staff. School cabinet members invited Sr. Nirmala to hoist the national flag. Students delivered speeches in three languages and sang patriotic songs. A drawing competition added creativity to the celebration, followed by the distribution of sweets. The campus atmosphere was filled with patriotism, pride, and reverence for the Constitution of India.


National Girl Child Day

On January 24, 2025, St. Ann’s E.M. High School, Nidadavolu, observed National Girl Child Day with the theme “Empowering Girls for a Bright Future.” Class leaders carried placards and chanted slogans promoting the dignity and rights of the girl child. The celebration began with a special assembly featuring speeches by students and teachers on education, health, and equality. Cultural programs, including dances and songs by Class 8 students, highlighted the vital role of girls in society. The Assembly Hall echoed with messages of empowerment and hope for a brighter tomorrow. The Principal delivered an inspiring address, motivating students to champion equal opportunities for every girl.


Pongal Celebration

Pongal was joyfully celebrated in the Assembly Hall of St. Joseph’s Block, Atkinson School, Gollapudi. KG teachers welcomed the Sisters in a traditional manner and honoured them with saplings. Tiny-tots, dressed in ethnic wear, performed cultural events with grace and enthusiasm. The hall was beautifully decorated with Pongal pots and sugar cane stems, adding to the festive spirit. Pongal was prepared in clay pots and shared with staff and support staff. The highlight was “Bhogipallu” for children, with blessings from the Correspondent, Principal, and teachers.


Celebration of Sankranthi

On January 10, 2025, St. Ann’s E.M. High School, Nidadavole, celebrated Sankranthi with joy and tradition. The campus was decorated with rangoli, flowers, and kites, while students came in traditional attire. The program began with a prayer service and dance, followed by cultural performances of songs and dances. Rev. Fr. Vijaykumar, Parish Priest of St. Ambrose Church, blessed the students, and all gathered around the Bhogi fire. Staff and students boiled milk as a symbol of prosperity, and kite-making competitions added festive cheer. Mrs. Satyavathi explained Sankranthi’s significance across India, making the celebration a memorable experience for everyone.


FOSTERING THE IMPORTANCE OF GROUP DYNAMICS

On September 21, 2024, a seminar for students of grades VI to X of Nidadavole focused on creative thinking and skill development, led by Dr. Rev. Fr. Rajakumar, the Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church. He encouraged self-reflection, goal setting, and building self-esteem while warning against pride and laziness. The session included video clips on conserving food and water and a motivational story on perseverance. Fr. Rajakumar introduced study techniques like time management, “space study,” and mnemonic tools for memory retention. Students engaged in group activities to assess strengths, weaknesses, and teamwork. A discussion on mobile phones and social media helped improve their communication and critical thinking skills.


RAINBOW DAY CELEBRATION

On October 19, 2024, St. Ann’s Hr. Sec. School, Tamnar, graciously hosted “Rainbow Day” for its Kindergarten students. The event featured a beautifully decorated stage in Rainbow hues, highlighting the emotional and symbolic power of colors. Each color represented unique personalities and was linked to the seven Chakras, days of the week, and God’s covenant with Noah. Young children, dressed in vibrant costumes, shared their knowledge of the Rainbow colors. A creative VIBGYOR display made from craft materials showcased their artistic talents. Teachers and students engaged in color-themed discussions and cheerful rhymes. The day was joyful, educational, and filled with fun and creativity.
