IPC MEETING – AUGUST 2019


Jesus mission fulfilled by the prophesy of Isaiah“He took away our infirmities and bore our diseases“He touched people at their deepest level. Asha hospital Gollapudi is the only hospital for our Province. It is a twenty bedded Hospital. It is situated in rural area where the poor and the needy can get in an affordable cost. We the sisters of the Immaculate Conception-Eastern India, carry out loving services to the poor and the needy patient. Health is basic human right and healing ministry is Divine mandate.




OUR VISION
We are challenged by the healing mission of Jesus Christ, who is incarnation  of the compassionate love of the Father, we  re-discover    ourselves with the special preference to the poor and the marginalized, upholding their human dignity to fulfill the intention of our Founders, Marquis Carlo Tancredi and Marchioness Julia Barolo.

OUR MISSION
We are called to glorify God as the instruments of Divine Providence as a sign of hope to the sick, suffering and marginalized through holistic approach, providing them quality care promoting life from conception to its natural end. We endeavor to uphold the sanctity of the person as a whole.

PROVINCE LEVEL MEETING

The core-group for Medicare has had two core-group meetings and one inter Province level meeting at Melamiyur, since the Reorganization of the Indian Provinces on June 3rd 2019.The core-group members came together for the first time on 28.01.2019 at St.Anns Provincialate, Gollapudi. The theme chosen was the, consecrated to transform illness to wellness.

Mother- Ernestine our Provincial Superior in her presidential address, she extend a warm welcome to the core group sister nurses who have come for the first time and congratulated for the selfless service rendering to the humanity. She also stressed on the importance of having the mind of Christ, the attitude of Christ in our work areas. As Pope Francis says, touch the flesh of Christ in the poor and the sick.

OBJECTIVES
  • To use alternative systems of medicine for certain diseases and ailments.
  • To give quality care especially to the poor and the marginalized.
  • To work towards fullness of life, so that basic health is assured for all.
  • To conduct health camps and updating courses

ISSUES AND PROBLEMS WE FACE

v  Lack of qualified personal especially Doctors, Nurses
v  Safety measures are important in the hospital premises to avoid problems.
v  Drug addicts, drunkards and mental patients.
v  Antisocial elements are creeping into our medical Institutions, causing fear and anxiety to the health workers. 


We the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception are delighted to state that our health care services are much appreciated and eagerly awaited by the poor, sick and the elderly suffering people in the light of the Gospel values.
